Moving to .NET Core

.NET Framework 4.8 will be the last major version of the .NET Framework - only fixes are planned. Using .NET Core 3.0 it's not only possible to create Web applications, but also Windows applications using WPF and Windows Forms. The next major version of .NET will be .NET 5 in 2020. This is just a new name for .NET Core to make the move from .NET Framework even more clear. You should already invest moving to the new framework - .NET Core.
This workshop gives you an introduction - what's different with .NET Core. You'll see the most important aspects on creating .NET Core applications using the tools, make use of dependency injection, logging, and configuration, and create ASP.NET Core Web applications as well as WPF Windows applications.
