We, people, love homeostasis. That is, we love when things stay the way they are. And nobody loves the change. That fact makes it harder for us, security professionals, administrators, IT professionals, developers, and managers to raise the security posture of an organization. Users resist introducing Multi-Factor Authentication, resist to password complexity requirements and to any other thing we want to introduce, to make our environment more secure. How can we overcome this trend; how can we make our job easier and, at the same time, our organizations more secure?
