Most people focus on the use of Site Templates (nee Site Designs) to create sites at the outset, setting everything up a site type might need to be useful. In fact, Site Templates can be used to create Site Columns, Content Types, and/or list or libraries at any point in the site’s lifecycle. In this session, we’ll look at some real world examples of using Site Templates to:
• Create a Policy library to be used in a central Policy Center, drawing the policies from across department sites
• Build out a set of Document Libraries with detailed metadata which is consistent across projects
